Leisure Activities at BV
Enjoy tennis, golf, croquet, table tennis and swimming – that’s all included free of charge with your stay and there’s plenty of green grass rolling around or taking a picnic on and daisies for making chains.
Our sub-tropical gardens roll down to the hotel’s private foreshore on the Helford River where we have kayaking and SUP trips as well as trips on the hotel’s boat to see what you can find out on the water. Find more about booking and charges for river activities here.
If you’ve got a budding tennis or golf star and are up for a bit of coaching; fancy being put through your paces by our PT, are up for a guided walk or would like to go on a guided wild swim while you’re here our talented team of experts are on stand-by to give you a hand. We’ve rounded up all the info into one easy spot.
Days out from BV
You’re never too far from an outing in Cornwall. If wildlife and animals are your thing the cheeky seals at the Seal Sanctuary are about a 20 minute drive from the hotel and the Flicka Donkey Sanctuary is about 15 minutes by car. A little further afield explore the mighty Eden Project, the iconic St Michael’s Mount or get your pirate on at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. If you’ve got energy to burn there are 2 adventure sports locations close by with coasteering, zip wires and a giant inflatable course at Via Ferrata and Kernow Adventure Park. If sailing is more your thing there’s plenty of that on offer at the Children’s Sailing Trust. We’ve got plenty more information about visits and places to explore here.
