Kayaking from Budock Vean

Kayaking the Helford River

Kayaking the Helford River

This 2 hour adventure with Koru Kayaking starts from our private foreshore, heading towards Helford Passage, passing sailing boats and ancient oak forests. Paddle across the river to Frenchman's Creek, the inspiration for Daphne du Maurier's novel. The serene surroundings on calm waters are amazing with shipwrecks and secluded beaches. On sunny days there is an opportunity to swim in the soft waters of the creek, before paddling back to Budock Vean.
