Dining at Budock Vean
The main restaurant has a daily changing menu with a 4-course evening dinner which can be added onto your booking for just £35 per person instead of the usual £57. With this offer, you won't be able to book £35pp dinner online, please book on arrival or contact us direct in advance if you prefer on 01326 252100.
The cocktail bar offers lunches, afternoon tea and a more informal dinner option which you can enjoy out on the terrace or in the conservatory – all still created using the best local produce. You can see all the sample menus here, including our award winning full Cornish breakfast.
Local Area
The hotel is an ideal base for exploring harbour towns, heritage attractions, beaches. The bustling harbour town of Falmouth, with its art galleries, antique shops, museums and English Heritage’s Pendennis Castle and is around 15 to 20minute drive. A little further afield (traffic depending!) you can be at St Michaels Mount in 50 minutes, Eden Project in 1 hour, Tate St Ives in 1 hour.

Nearby Gardens
From the hotel’s gardens you can get onto the South West Coast Path and explore some local pubs including the waterside Ferry Boat Inn and if you jump on the foot ferry from there you’ll be at the Shipwrights Arms in no time. There’s also the option to take a kayak, boat or SUP trip (until around about October each year depending on the weather) at the hotel’s foreshore.
Cornwall is bursting with great gardens and the hotel is within walking distance of two of the best, Trebah Garden and National Trust’s Glendurgan Garden and, of course ... our very own sub-tropical garden which rolls down to the river.
