Some of the team at Budock Vean Hotel have been downing tools to help show off the resort’s on-site activities for a new summer campaign. Joined by members of their family, chefs, office staff and the hotel’s head gardener have been picking up rackets, paddles, clubs … and cutlery ready to be photographed for a summer campaign which you may have spotted online.

“We have all these wonderful facilities here at the hotel which help make for brilliant family memories and moments … what better way to shine a light on them than to capture some brand new, real life family moments and asking some of our team to be our models.’ Martin Barlow, managing director.

The campaign features chef Durran and his son playing on one of the hotel’s all-weather tennis courts and Cat, a good friend of BV who used to be part of the reception team kicking back in the hot tub with her daughter. Office worker Sarah had her son and two friends bring the table tennis kit to life, while two junior golfers picked up their clubs to show off the beautiful golf course. Alongside this our Head Gardener Danny, and Sarah who works in the office took to the water on a paddleboard trip on the Helford River.

As if that wasn’t keeping things in the BV family … the photographs were taken by Attila who works as part of the food & beverage team.

‘We are delighted with the photos and really grateful to our team who volunteered to be photographed and to Attila for his camera work. Together I think we have captured the essence of family holidays at BV. Some families have been visiting for many, many years, we have some parents who now holiday here with their children having spent their own childhoods at BV which is really very special. We’re looking forward to the summer season.’
