The final ‘fun’ event was at Porthpean Golf Club in St Austell. 7 golf clubs took part from across Cornwall. The golf course was set to be much more of a test with holes over 250 yds long and even asking the Juniors to drive over water. Considering that half the playing juniors had no handicap it was a real challenge.

At the presentation Budock Vean Buzzards were runners up in the best pairs event, with Billy Sadler and Jowan Tresize and Will and Jack Bromley contributing 38points each to our 76  point total. The winners were St Austell with 79 points.

In the West Cornwall League, over 5 matches, both Budock and Tehidy were joint winners and our league team were very proud to receive their Gold medals. A real achievement as this was the first time we had entered the event.
