Award winning, mouthwatering treats await

We are still over the moon to have been crowned Large Hotel of the Year at the Cornwall Tourism Awards. The ceremony, which was held inside the cathedral in the city of Truro, saw over 300 from our industry gather to celebrate tourism in Cornwall. We were delighted to have been able to attend as a large group with someone representing every department across the hotel.  It really was so brilliant for our whole team to be recognised and we’re really proud of everyone who works at Budock Vean, this is their award.  Our award sits in the main reception hall at the hotel alongside a couple of others (Ok that’s a modest brag!) … we still hold a Visit England breakfast award which we are, rightly, proud of. Our team of chefs work really hard blending the very best of local ingredients with seasonal meat, fish and vegetables taking centre stage … and don’t even get us started on the desserts!

The hotel has a mixture of fine dining in the main restaurant alongside an evening terrace menu which is served in our conservatory or, as the name suggests, out on the terrace if the weather is playing ball. Then, of course, there are lunches, afternoon teas and sandwiches … you don’t go hungry at Budock Vean! Our online reviews and customer feedback always rate the quality of the food so whether you’re a guest or live locally do contact us and reserve your table! If you are staying at the hotel make sure you take advantage of the dinner offer where you pay just £31 per person for the 4 course evening meal instead of the usual £53.
