Sunday 12th June saw the Budock Vean Golf Club hold their biggest competition of the year so far with a field of 62 playing for the President’s Putter.

With some very challenging pin positions, our green keeper, Warren Jefferyes, presented the course in excellent condition which all added up to a perfect day overall, seeing some impressive scoring by the whole field.

On top of the pile was Liam Button with a very impressive nett 61 beating Rory Julian, one of the Club’s ever improving young juniors only on countback, with Geoff Mills coming in third with a nett 63.

Liam received a £200 voucher towards a putter, an impressive crystal trophy and the president’s putter.
