Over the weekend of September 5th/6th Budock Vean Golf Club held its annual competition. Sponsored by Jill Sulley raising funds for the clubs charity in memory of her late husband, former captain of the club, and friend to many. The day raised £310 for the ‘Little Harbour Children’s Hospice’ in Porthpean, St Austell, from the entry to the competition.

With a field of 62 players, stableford format, with 90% handicap allowance, the result is as follows.

The overall winners where; Roger Mildren and David Townsend, with 47 points, receiving the trophy and commemorative wine glass.

Best ladies; Sue Parsons and Tricia Blatter, with 40 points, receiving a trophy.

And best mixed pair; Paul and Lesley Upperton, with 41 points, receiving a trophy.
