We have an excellent reputation for serving great food at Budock Vean – it’s one of the reasons so many people choose us to host their business meetings and team days. Our team of chefs use carefully selected, locally sourced ingredients to prepare a variety of lunches for your time with us … make your break for lunch a pleasure before you steam into your afternoon.

Boutique Lunch Menu
For meetings of up to 10 people you can pre-order from our boutique lunch menu. Or, if you have delegates with special dietary requirements, we can adjust the menu with more vegan and vegetarian dishes, or gluten free options. Just get in touch with our Functions Manager, Nicky, on 01326 250288

  • Hot bowl of soup of the day served with wholemeal bread
  • Baked local field mushrooms with goats cheese, served on toasted brioche bread with a rocket salad (V)
  • Hot confit of free range Barbary duck leg with salad leaves and homemade plum chutney
  • Twice baked cheddar cheese soufflé served on creamed spinach (V)
  • Freshly baked locally made Cornish pasty
  • Fried chicken strips served on salad leaves with lemon, parsley and caper mayonnaise
  • Tiger prawns served with a fresh mango salsa and market leaves
  • Locally smoked Scottish salmon served on fresh baked sourdough bread with cream cheese, rocket, lemon and capers
  • Salad of Greenland prawns, avocado, citrus fruit and vine ripe cherry tomatoes with fresh market leaves and balsamic reduction

All served on either wholemeal or white bread with crisps and salad leaves

  • Rare roast local beef served with a pot of horseradish sauce
  • Mature local Cheddar cheese, served with homemade grape chutney
  • Honey baked gammon ham with homemade piccalilli
  • Royal Greenland prawns bound in marie rose sauce

Buffet Menus
For larger meetings, perhaps sessions where you can’t collect pre-orders or if you’d like to break for lunch in a more informal manner, we offer a pick and mix buffet selection. Choose from the following items to create
