Golf and Golf Schools

Budock Vean, with its spectacular parkland golf course and award-winning gardens, is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the south-facing bank of the Helford River.

This delightful course is playable throughout the year, such is the equanimity of the climate in this most southerly part of the British Isles.

Take a look at our Golf Schools and Tuition breaks. There's also plenty to do for non-playing golf partners.

David Short

P.G.A. Professional David Short, one of the country's most experienced teaching professionals, has been organising extremely popular golf schools and competitions all over the world since 1978. The 1994 Golf Monthly survey voted David's residential golf school in the UK's top three. In 1995 his school was chosen to be featured on the BBC Holiday Programme and more recently in The Mail on Sunday. We are very pleased to have David running these events at Budock Vean again this year. The combination of expert tuition within a friendly social framework, is central to David's philosophy that these golf breaks should be both totally professional and socially rewarding... and they are!
