Cottages and Lodges
If you prefer a self-catering holiday in Cornwall but with all the Budock Vean luxuries then our cottages and lodges are for you. Situated within about fifty yards of the hotel’s front door are the four beautiful Budock Vean cottages and lodges. Although the hotel has a four star rating, the cottages and lodges themselves are not classified with the AA, RAC and ETB. However each has a small private garden, convenient parking, central heating, and include full use of the hotel facilities.
Families with young children have always found our self catering cottages most suitable. Baby-sitting can normally be arranged free of charge for cottage guests having dinner in the hotel’s restaurant.

Stays of less than one week may be available prior to 7th March and after 1st November, and are charged daily at 1/5th of the weekly rate - the minimum stay is three days. During mid and high season, stays are available from Saturday to Saturday only.
Extra beds can be accommodated in some rooms for which the supplement is £50 per adult or child over 5 years, per stay. Cots can also be provided at a supplement of £30 per week.
Reservations
Reservations should be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of £100.00 per cottage per stay which will be credited to your account upon arrival.

Dogs
Dogs are accepted by prior consent of the management at a rate, excluding any meals, of £25.00 per dog per week for the first two weeks, and £15.00 per dog per week thereafter. A minimum charge of £25.00 per dog will apply for stays less than one week. For all other terms and conditions relating to dogs, please see information for dog owners.
Restaurants
The hotel offers an excellent range of meals including snacks and Cornish Cream teas. The reduced prices for cottage and lodge guests are £10.00 for full English breakfast and £27.50 for our five-course dinner served in the Country Club Room, or in the main restaurant subject to availability. Advance booking is required.
Jacket and tie are required in the main hotel restaurant. As an alternative to the reduced rate for dinner, parents can take advantage of our complimentary baby-sitting service, subject to availability, when paying the full dinner price of £32.50.
Housekeeping Service
A daily bed-making and room cleaning service is available on request. The cost is £30 per day in the four bedroom cottage, £25 per day in the three bedroom cottages and £20 per day in the two bedroom cottage. This excludes dish washing for those on self-catering terms.
Arrival and Departure Times
Cottages are normally available on arrival from 3.00pm. Guests are requested to vacate their cottage by 10.00am on the day of their departure.
