Come and take a break in Cornwall at one of our extremely popular Gourmet Weekends. Enjoy relaxed conviviality and the best of fresh local Cornish produce, imaginatively presented by our Head Chef, Darren Kelly and his team, using a variety of cooking styles, with fine wines to complement each dish.
The Gourmet Weekend is held on Friday and Saturday night. The price includes two five-course dinners (the menu is set but vegetarian options available for those who require them) with different pre-selected wines served with each course, two nights accommodation and Full English Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday.
The Gourmet Weekends have a ‘House Party" feel to them. Guests are seated on large tables of eight or ten unless they specify otherwise. This dinner party style has resulted in many friendships being formed.
The combination of good food, wines and relaxed company with some rounds of golf, relaxation in our swimming pool and making use of our Natural Health Spa has resulted in these weekends selling out extremely quickly - so book up as soon as possible!

Camel Valley - Vineyard
Tasting wines and seeing how they are made is great fun at Camel Valley. Guided tours take place at 2.30pm between April and September. You will be shown around the vineyard and the winery, seeing how their grapes are transformed into award winning wines and have the opportunity to taste. Camel valley offer a variety of tours
Duchy Oyster Farm - beautifully situated on the banks of Port Navas Creek.
Ben Wright took over the right to all the oysters and other shellfish in the Helford River in 2005. Ben and his team are working to restore the oyster and shellfish beds to their former glory. Oysters can be purchased from the Oyster Fran or they can be delivered to the hotel by prior arrangement. Helford Oysters can also be served on the Foreshore at Budock Vean by prior arrangement during the summer months.
