Included in the Price
Except for the four bedroom cottage, which enjoys a separate, spacious lounge, kitchen and conservatory, the accommodation comprises of a large lounge-diner and open plan kitchen including washing machine and tumble dryer. Most bedrooms have private bathrooms or shower room and toilet. All bed linen, blankets, bathroom towels and tea towels are provided. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery and crockery. There is a microwave oven, iron and board, direct dial telephone, colour television and CD Radio. Duvets are available on request.
The accommodation in the four bedroom cottage is arranged on 2 floors; whereas in the other cottages it is all arranged on the ground floor. If required we can provide stair gates in the four bedroom cottage – Please contact reception.
We can also provide robes and swimming towels on request - Please contact reception.
You have full complimentary use of the hotel leisure facilities - The golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool.
All the electricity and heating costs are also included in the price.
Dining in the hotel
Should you wish to take breakfast or dinner in the hotel you will be able to take advantage of the reduced prices we offer our cottage guests.
- Full English breakfast charged at £12.00 per person
- Four course dinner charged at £34.00 per person
Dinner is generally served in the Country Club Room, where the dress code is smart casual, or in the Main Dining Room subject to availability where jacket and tie is required for gents.
In either case advance booking is required. As your accommodation is self catering you are not automatically allocated a table in the hotel for dinner or breakfast. Our restaurant is often busy and we cannot always guarantee allocation of a table in our main dining room. Should this be the case we will offer a table in our country club room. Please contact Reception to make a reservation.
Gentlemen are reminded that a Jacket and Tie is required for those dining in the Main Dining Room.
Room Service
Cottage guests are welcome to use Room Service, which is available 24 hours a day for drinks and light snacks.
Room service for Breakfast is available from 8.00am until 9.45am and Dinner is available from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Cottage guests requiring room service Breakfast or Dinner are advised to provide Reception with at least 12 hours notice.
A surcharge of £3.00 per person for breakfast and dinner and £2.00 per person for light snacks or drinks will be added to your room account.
On arrival
Porterage service is available at no extra charge.
If you know you are going to arrive late please advise the hotel and we can make sure the cottage lights and heating are on for you. We can also organise a late cold supper if required.
Housekeeping Service
A bed making and room cleaning service is available on request. The cost is £35 per day in the four bedroom cottage, £30 per day in the three bedroom cottages and £25 per day in the two bedroom cottage. This excludes dish washing for those on self-catering terms but includes:
- Bed Making and Bathroom Cleaning
- Towel changing (if towels are placed in the bath indicating a change of towels is required)
- Vacuuming and polishing of all areas
- Emptying of bins
